These summer months seem to be just flying by. I wrapped up two summer shows this past July, with my first outdoor exhibit at the Toronto Outdoor Art Show and a pop-up shop in the Concept Store at Yorkdale Mall for 2 weeks.
It’s always a gamble doing outdoor shows, as Mother Nature isn’t very predictable. Remember our Barrie show of 2015? There was a thunderstorm warning, large balls of hail pelting us, and vendor’s tents flying away! It was my first foray into outdoor shows and I took a long hiatus after that traumatic experience.
Three years later, I'm back at my first tented show of the summer at the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair in Nathan Philips square. It was a sweltering weekend but a ton of fun! I never know what to expect when I try a new show, but I'm always glad to have tried something new and gone beyond my comfort zone. And as if on cue, there was thunder, lightning and heavy rain while were setting up our tent the night before.
Thank you for all of your visits and smiles, I'm so grateful to be working in the wonderful city of Toronto and for the opportunity to meet all of you.
I even got a friendly visit from my little dog. :)
